Did Seattle for three weeks and Tokyo for one. Probably would have been nice to reverse that as three weeks in Seattle is cruisey and trying to cover anything in Tokyo in a week is just silly.
Tokyo is not kind to those who don't know where things are.
You find them eventually but after two days of record shopping and city exploring my feet and legs are just worn out.
Off yo find something more relaxing than Shibuya-ku and Shinjuku-ku but I'm sure I'll bounce back tomorrow and be ready for more.
I wonder how long it takes one's peripheral vision to adjust to navigating a city where there is more above ground then on the ground. Sometimes you just have to go building to building and explore.
Posted a feature on UR on my blog. Youtube rejected it (> 10min) which was a little frustrating but "teh GooGle" came through with the goods.
Got stuck in a bit of formatting hell due to flock's lack of decent image placement tools and my lack of web skills when trying to do by hand (using the wonderful marsedit).
Worked it out eventually.
Jon Stewart is not my favourite American satirist by any stretch.
But - occasionally The Daily Show sneaks out some humour and they are very good at pilfering news stock. This analysis 'What Exactly Is President Bush's Job?' is probably TDS at it's best.
UPDATE: since CC pulled clips I can only find this shorter version ... bah!
